 Our implementation method called Fast Implementation is very easy and is based on few principles fully embraced by the Odoo philosophy.

 Thanks to the completeness of Odoo and our certified competence in it, we develop as little as possible. 

We want to create value, not lines of code.

FAST IMPLEMENTATION

Over the years, Rapsodoo has developed an approach to software implementation, and Odoo in particular, in contrast with what is typically done on the market. We see our competitors offer a tailored approach, often comparing it to a dress or building house. 

In these cases, most of the costs are based on lines of code with implementation projects taking months and months. 

We identified 3 motivations that lead to this kind of approach:

The process guides the software

A process should not, by principle, be built based on the software, but simultaneously this makes for a more pragmatic approach. Does it really always make sense to invest time and money in the implementation of your specific invoicing process, investing weeks adapting the software to your custom method? 

Is it really the way you create invoices that gives you a competitive advantage? 

We have seen many companies invest time, effort, and money to customize processes yielding very low value instead of focussing on what actually made them competitive.

It’s a bit more, should I leave it?

Many believe that, in order to digitalize business processes for whatever reason (optimizing resources, a better view of the company performance, integrating your service with external ones), it is necessary to buy software.

 Having usually more experience in the purchase of commonly used products (and not software), there is a tendency to follow certain patterns of behavior: – at the same price, people want to get as many features as possible (“Maybe someday, they will be useful!”) – people want to pay a one-off price (“So I don’t have to think about it anymore!”) – people tend to consider software purchased as an investment in the future, as though they were buying a house. 

In our opinion, nothing is further from the truth. You don’t need the software in itself. What you are looking for is something to solve your current problems, possibly without creating new ones. It is vital to understand that you are not paying for software, you are paying for solutions to your problems. The difference might seem subtle, but it’s indeed crucial.

“The world is changing faster than ever before.” How many times have you heard sentences like this one? For better or for worse, it is true, and even more so in the IT sector. 

People are aware but sometimes they have a tendency to think that this concerns everyone else but them. Therefore, one might tend to deem software lifetime (sometimes endless) much more valuable, and words like “migration” scare off most people. 

“We bought this only a short while ago, why we have to change it already?” Unfortunately, migrations often cost more than the initial project.

The Coworking Experience App is a Rapsodoo white-label office space management product through which our customers can book workspaces and tools before going to the office.

Since 2020, we have seen an explosion of smart working and related arrangements. Now it is time to manage corporate locations in a smart way.
We achieved this in collaboration with Italy's leading gas distribution operator.
